About Us

Dave Ference was born and raised in Phoenix Arizona and that is
where his art career started. He studied art at Northern Arizona University where he earned his BFA degree in graphic design. After college, he began a career in education by teaching art to high school students. Eleven years later he took a serious interest in photography.

In 2003 he & his wife moved to Canton Ohio while earning his certification from the oldest photography school in America , the New York Institute of Photography. Dave is currently working as a freelance photographer with a vast interest in many areas such as portrait, landscape, sports, commercial, wedding and pet photography.

Dave began his own business as a freelancer in 2004, thus "Ference Photography" was born. He is constantly on the lookout for photographic opportunities and enjoys using his creative skills with the camera.
